Live-Action Xombie Movie On Horizon

Several sites are reporting that Disney's Dreamworks is in negotiations to purchase the movie rights to Xombie. I'll admit, I've never heard of Xombie until now. Apperantly, it began as an animated online series, moved on to a comic, and is now being turned into an illustrated film.

Xombie is the story of a zombie cop named Dirge who is trying to save humanity from evil zombies. Check out the official site here. Xombie was created by James Farr.

  1. You've never heard of Xombie!?? For shame. 'Twas an excellent series. James Far is very talented (and a nice guy, too. Ran into him at SDCC a few years ago).

Anyway. Very cool to hear the news. I know he's had a movie deal in the works for quite a long time. Hope it pulls through and makes James a ton of cash.

  2. I know, I know... I may have you guys tricked into thinking I know everthing but, alas, I do not.

And if it involves reading, I'm waaaaay behind and have no time. I have, like, 6 books I need to read and review!
