I just wanted to bring everyone’s attention to a new zombie film we can expect to see in the future. Fading of the Cries may quite possibly be the most unique zombie-filled movie we have seen. Starring Brad Dourif, Fading of the Cries appears to be a magical quest story. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is so much more. It does tell the tale of a hero rescuing the damsel in distress from evil. But this just merely touches the surface.
You see, Dourif’s character, Mathias, is a necromancer possessing the ability to resurrect thousands of dead to do his bidding. And the hero’s weapon of choice? A sword. Is your mouth watering yet? Am I the only one looking forward to seeing a man fight thousands of zombies with a sword?
Fading of the Cries is more than just zombie slaying film. I am excited to announce that Zombies & Toys had the opportunity to speak with writer/director, Brian Metcalf. Expect to hear what Brian had to say as well as some insights about the movie in an upcoming post. In the meantime, get a glimpse of what we will be talking about and prepare for our interview.
