Star Wars Death Trooper - mini bust review

My geekness goes beyond zombies.  Of course, there's toys.  And what kind of geek would I be if I didn't love Star Wars?  So, if you take zombies, toys, Star Wars, and my favorite manufacturer of collectibles Gentle Giant and mash them all together you get a giddy Jason jumping around like a little school girl.  You also get a Star Wars Death Trooper mini bust manufactured by the fine artisans at Gentle Giant Studios.

Our friends over at Gentle Giant Collectors have posted a video review of the exclusive version that is available only through Gentle Giant Ltd.  Enjoy the video and make sure to pre-order your Death Trooper mini bust at the zombie toy store.

From Gentle Giant Collectors:

Today we are pleased to bring you a first In Hand look at the Gentle Giant LTD Web Exclusive Death Trooper Deluxe Mini Bust. At 6.5 inches this remarkably horrifying DELUXE 1/6th scale mini-bust is crafted in heavy, high quality poly-stone, featuring detachable armor plates revealing the morbid decay of the Imperial walking dead, including the fiendish face behind the mask!

A blaster and 3 additional Interchangeable arms are included as well as several other pieces so you can really customize the look and how much gore you want to display. Using all of the pieces supplied it is possible to cover it all up, but with all the details packed into this one, you won't want to. There are literally dozens of customizable variations and we tried to show as many as we could come up with in our video presentation.

This a dream come true for a Star Wars and Zombie Fan or a fan of the Joe Schreiber's Star Wars horror novel. The details on this one are amazing and the way you can customize it really gives the collector a lot of control on how you want it to look in your display. At a run of only 1500 you could only purchase this version direct from Gentle Giant LTD's website. This version does not include the book but the general release will (but is not deluxe).

Even if you are not a fan of the genre this is still a great addition to the collection and with the ability to cover up what you don't want to see merits a spot on your shelf!
