When you think of The Walking Dead, I doubt you will conect it with the cancelled series, Heros. Josh Wigler of MTV.com sat down with Heroes creator Tim Kring to listen to him weigh in on the ties between his series and the Walking Dead. He explains that “‘The Walking Dead’ is a huge success not only because of the good quality but also because of the six episode length.” He goes on to talk about the reasons why his series failed explaining that the 24 episode seasons were “hard to sustain”. With that being said, I would like to know what you guys think. Why do you think Heroes truly failed and why do you think that ‘The Walking Dead” will succeed for a long time?

I think "Heros" kinda blew their wad so to speak by running so many episodes and over saturating their audience, but at the same time, I think the story just grew stale and short attention span theater reared it's ugly head once again. People just changed the channel.
ReplyDeleteWalking Dead - some of us will never tire of the zombie and his antics. Or the survivors who try to stop them.
