Agorables: Presented by the Undead Bazaar

Sara Ross

Agorables (www.agorables.com) is a one-stop shop for all sorts of zombie and monster goodies. From wallets to ties, bookmarks to paintings, there is a zombie item for everyone. Agorables has been creating zombie themed and other unique pieces for eight years now, always making inspired items and hoping to find an audience who also enjoys art that is “off, not quite right, against the grain, and if at all possible…funny.” This is always keeping in mind that zombies range from gory to cute, and trying to picture the world as aware of the living dead and sensitive to their special needs.

The first exposure Agorables had to zombies was at the local Pack and Save, by pump number 2, at the tender age of three, while trying to bum a smoke off his old man. Agorables would choose to be a zombie if made into a toy, complete with an Off-Road Segway (since zombies are kinda slow), and a Plastic Zombie Bib to keep the threads fresh. Should the once-human Agorables ever be bitten by a zombie, one request: the chance to do the Thriller dance before shooting his ass!

Some of the many inspirations of Agorables include Love Lowbrow Art, Hot Rod, Psycho-billy Monster Action, the art of Rob Zombie (not just meant to be a Zombie plug!), Big Daddy Ed Roth, Stoney Sinclair, and The Pizz. Agorables does not have one favorite subject to draw (evident by a glance at Agorables’ etsy store), but rather is inspired by whatever falls out of the pen—drawings start as sparks and grow as they are drawn, often taking on an life of their own as the picture is expanded.

If you would like to own a piece of Agorables’ zombie art, you are in luck. We have not one, but five 3D Urban Zombie Paper Toys to give away! Download, cut, paste, and enjoy! If you would like a chance at winning, please send an email with your name and address to agorables@zombiesandtoys.com. One entry per person, and the winners will be chosen in four weeks.

  1. I love Agorables! I won an Agorables wallet a couple of years ago and I love it! Their art is so awesome!
