A meal on-the-go takes on a whole new meaning when you put it in the context of the undead. Usain Bolt is fast food, and Jason Alexander. . . well, he’s more the dine-in type. For those of us with functioning circulatory systems, there’s Zombie Burger; open for lunch dinner and late-night dining, ZOMBIE BURGER + DRINK LAB features something for everyone (still living.)
Located at 300 East Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, Zombie Burger really does have everything. Start your meal off with a light appetizer, such as Fried Pickle chips, or Zombie Nachos (flour tortilla chips, adobe shredded pork, tomato, cheddar cheese, guacamole, salsa, and pico de gallo.) When you’re serious about getting your eat on, grab one of their goreMet bashed burgers: the Zombie Burger, East Village of the Damned, Dead Moines, The Walking Ched, 28 Days Later, or even George Romero’s Pittsburgher.
Man I wish I was in Iowa right now.
Swing by and check them out on their website, www.zombieburgerdm.com.

I love a little over an hour away from Des Moines and my boyfriend and I ate at Zombie Burger for the first time yesterday. He got the burger that is topped with macaroni and cheese and has fried macaroni and cheese patties instead of a bun. It was pretty epic. - Nicole from insidethemindofnicole.blogspot.com
