Chills And Thrills Monthly

by Dorothy Emry

Want a go-to place to get ideas on books to add to your reading list? Then check out Chills and Thrills Monthly, a site that provides a list of horror, mystery, and thriller ebooks “to help readers discover new authors through ones they already love.” A new collection will be posted each month.

So far the site features the works of five authors: Russell Blake, T.W. Brown, Scott Nicholson, Daniel Pyle, and J. Thorn. Another writer, Billie Sue Mosiman, has already been added to the group; look for some of her titles in the upcoming collection for March. When asked about plans for the site’s future, Thorn said that a few more writers may be added as regulars in the months to follow, but the plan is to keep the site “streamlined and uncluttered for readers.” The site is exactly that: a presentation of book covers with handy links to Amazon for purchasing, no reviews, and no sales pitches.

The titles of greatest interest for Z&T followers from February’s list are T.W. Brown’s Dead: Siege & Survival and Zomblog: Snoe, but the novels devoid of zombies are worth checking out, too. The twisted villains, secret experiments, dark fantasy, and super-assassins that fill the pages of the other authors’ books are sure to please those looking for—you guessed it—chills and thrills.
