Howl-O-Scream Updates

Matt Boiselle

Last month it was reported that Busch Gardens Tampa was infusing it's yearly Howl-O-Scream Halloween event with a little zombie flavor. We can now say that "The Dark Side of the Gardens" will be overrun with scores of the undead, and all the details are here!

Marketing director Jill Revelle states that " even the streets aren't safe, zombie hordes will pour forth from every shadow in an attempt to show fans the most horrifying Howl-O-Scream yet." In the middle of hundreds of blood-thirsty flesh eaters clogging every concievable exit in the park, there will be 3 new haunted houses with the headliner being Zombie Mortuary - following the tale of a small town funeral home that was overrun by the living dead. The other 2 houses will consist of an Edgar Allan Poe themed gothic horror maze, and a Las Vegas style casino; home to some of the sexiest (and deadliest) vampires that you have ever seen. All this, plus 4 returning haunted houses from previous years, will surely make this year's event one that is not to be missed. Head on over to Busch Garden's website for the skinny on ticket pricing, event dates, and lots of zombie madness!

Howl-O-Scream 2011

Matt Boiselle

It's almost that time of the year, fellow friends of the undead. As the calendar screams towards the haunting season, Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida will be hosting it's 12th annual Howl-O-Scream event, which is designed to scare the daylights (and wallets) out of tourists and locals alike. This years theme will be called " The Dark side of the Gardens", and judging by the mainpage of their website, this year could possibly be one not to be forgotten. In an attempt to (hopefully) satisfy the most die-hard of zombie fans, the theme park has simply stated this years tagline as " Zombies live here". No other details have been given outside of select dates of operation ( Sept 23rd- Oct 29th), so we will have to wait as to what exactly the sick minds that be at Busch Gardens have in store. I have relatives that have visited the park in years past for this event and I have been told that there has been nothing short of a truly terrifying experience all around, In other words " This ain't NO Mickey Mouse party !!" So stay tuned to our site, because when news gets updated on this horrific event, I will make sure to get the news to you all.
