The Scarehouse Invades Pittsburgh this October

Matt Boiselle

If you live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area (even if you don't-make the trip!) then you already know about one of the best Halloween attractions in the country. This season, The Scarehouse has decided to ramp up the scares to an apocalyptic level. Already boasting two huge attractions: Delirium 3D & The Forsaken, the newest addition promises to take the Zombie outbreak one step further. Entitled Pittsburgh Zombies, this haunt will tap into Western Pennsylvania's rich undead history. The elaborate setup will include authentic re-creations of some of Pittsburgh's most iconic landmarks which will be overloaded with scores of the walking dead. Scarehouse creative director and co-founder Scott Simmons states that this year's attraction "will be unlike any other haunted house in America." Opening night will commence on September 23rd and will run weekends through October 30th.
