Zombie Outbreak Infects Chicago!

Next weekend (Aug 11-14), the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL will host the glorious Wizard World Chicago Comic Con!  We already know Wizard hosts some of the best conventions you can attend, but this show will be one that zombie fans will definitely not want to miss!  The weekend will feature celebrities, artists, films, contests, and more that will have us all drooling like a virus-infected horde looking at a pile of brains.

Let's start with the appearance of the king of all zombie slayers, Bruce Campbell.  Not appearing alone, all five lead characters from the 1981 classic, The Evil Dead, will be in attendance.  There will be a special screening of the film on Saturday at 10 p.m. and the fun will continue as the group will conduct a panel Sunday at noon.  You can look forward to meeting Bruce Campbell (“Ash”), Ellen Sandweiss (“Cheryl”), Richard DeManincor (“Hal Delrich”), Betsy Baker (“Linda”) and Theresa Tilly (“Sarah York”).

Also appearing will be several cast members from the television series, The Walking Dead.  Stars Chandler Riggs, Addy Miller, and Adrian Kali Turner will be in attendance all weekend.  On Sunday at 3 p.m., there will be a preview of the upcoming season as well as a Q&A with several of the cast.

The "Marvel Zombie King", Arthur Suydam, will be offering prints of his work in addition to zombie face painting.  Additionally, there will be members from "Musical of the Living Dead" singing a few songs, zombie art giveaways, a costume contest, a masquerade ball, and a zombie parade!  full con schedule
