Zombies & Toys Ring

I'm not even going to lie; I love seeing what artists can do to the Zombies & Toys logo. Our beloved dead guy, originally created by Vince Rinaldo, has been re-imagined by Krystal Osborne, Billy Tackett, Drew Falchetta, Timothy Carr, Phil Hynes, myself, and now Steve Cairney.

While each version is certainly unique to the individual creating it, Steve's is particularly interesting. Steve turned the ZT logo into a silver ring adorned with a turquoise stone. The ring was sculpted using silver clay and then fired to solidify. I have never heard of this process but it is actually 99.9% pure silver.

I think it turned out great and love knowing that Zombies & Toys bling will be worn by one of our readers on the other side of the pond. To view all of the pictures taken during the process of making the ring, check out Steve's Flickr page.

  3. Thanks all! This has been on my to-do list since Jan. I'm considering more zombie style rings of my own design (instead of stealing Z&T's!) so watch this space...
