Wizard World Chicago - THIS WEEKEND !!

           Convention junkies in the Chicago area this weekend (August 8th-11th) listen up: if you want  incredible entertainment & celebrity sightings galore, then drag your tails on down to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO, and prepare to have your auditory & visual senses overloaded !

      In addition to the MULTITUDE of celebrity autograph opportunities, product displays and all other types of comic, TV, movie & video game goodness, we here at Zombies & Toys will be unearthing our distinguished corpse-in-charge: Jason to stand guard at our tomb and giveaway some killer Z&T swag but ONLY if you can locate him (don't tell anyone.....but he will be sporting a black backpack w/ a pink Z&T logo...but you didn't hear that from me.) - he will be in constant contact with our Facebook & Twitter pages, hanging out at different booths, and if you are luck enough to be clad in a zombie-themed shirt or going the extra mile in some zombie cosplay attire.....well then, there might be an extra surprise in it for you (Z.O.M.B.I.E. figures ?) - but the trick is, to find him...and he can be rather elusive...but not impossible to find. He will be stomping around the Convention Center on both Friday & Saturday so keep your FB eyes and Twitter fingers at the ready to score some great freebies, and maybe even rope Jason in for a pic to be posted on our site !

The "Call Me Maybe" Plague spreads to Wizard-Con

   The latest internet craze of creating a mock music video to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe'' has spread faster than a government-cover up plague that turns innocent citizens into MTV drones, and now even our beloved convention circuit has fallen prey to its inescapable clutches.

    At Chicago's Wizard World Comic-Con, both cosplay aficionados and celebrity guests participated in the sing-along, and everyone looked to have a killer time while doing so. Notable celeb lip-synchers included Jon Bernthal ( Shane from The Walking Dead), Bruce ( Evil Dead) Campbell, Dave Della Rocco ( The Boondock Saints), and every geek's (hopeful) future wife, Adrianne Curry. Be sure to click the video pic to start the party, but PLEASE don't sing too loud.... we wouldn't want to wake the dead now, would we ?

Wizard World Chicago: This Saturday !

    Livin in the Chicago, Illinois area (or close by ?) Looking for some killer weekend entertainment ? Wanna grab some awesome Zombies & Toys swag ?? If the answer to all 3 of the previous questions are "YES YES YES !!", than head on over to Wizard World Comic Con going on all this weekend !

   This 4 day convention showcasing the finest in comics, TV, movies and ALL things entertainment is going on right NOW, but if ya want the goodies, ya gotta meet up with THE MAN. Zombies & Toys own supreme being Jason will be in attendance this SATURDAY. ( Just look for the guy in the black Z&T shirt & gray backpack)....approach him, strike up a conversation with him, pledge your undying devotion to him & his website ( hey, WE gotta get plugs in too !), and if you snap a pic of yourself with he & his bride and post it to Twitter, you will become the proud new owner of some prime Z&T goodies !
