The zombie movies keep coming and I hope this trend doesn't stop anytime soon. Let's just hope these upcoming zombie movies we're getting flooded with do well and make studios money. If they don't, I doubt we'll see more. I'm remaining optimistic as most of the ones reported on here look pretty good to me. I know, I know... blah, blah, blah, get to the movie....
This one-sheet was just released for the French-made zombie movie, Mutants. The plot sounds decent and this poster has me sold! I reported earlier about another French zombie film, The Horde, and professed my love for some of the horror titles to come from that country. In case you're too lazy to click the link, go watch Frontier(s), Them, and High Tension. There is no word on a US release of Mutants yet. Here's the official synopsis:
"In a world devastated by a pandemic virus that turns human beings into
primitive and bloodthirsty creatures, Marco and Sonia set off to find a secret
base to escape from the 'mutants'. When the latter attack them, Marco is
infected too. Little by little, he undergoes the same changes. Sonia, who is
expecting a baby, is then forced to fight her worst enemy, the man she loves."
Also worth mentioning:
Fox Atomic is closing its doors this week. With this news, we're hearing reports of upcoming movies being bumped over to Fox. One movie in particular? 28 Months Later. Months has been rumored but this is the first time Fox has mentioned it which gives it a somewhat official possibility!
