Rooster Teeth Explores the Realities of Zombie Head Shots

If you are a fan a Rooster Teeth you will enjoy their latest video which takes a look at the difficulties that a person would face if they were thrown into a zombie survival situation with no proper gun training. For those of you who do not know, Rooster Teeth is an internet group who became famous for making internet videos based around Halo. From there they have grown to become quite a giant on the internet, producing a number of different videos each week.

The entry that shows so much promise is one that is part of the Immersion series, a series where they test the realities behind video games. They start out by putting a shotgun and handgun into the hands of experts and set up a zombie target range, and see how they do. The experts make it look easy so they decide to put a shotgun in the hands of a woman who has never fired a gun in her life, showing that in reality it isn’t as easy as games like Left 4 Dead make it seem.

Skeletonwitch - Bringers of Death

What?  Witches on a zombie blog?  Not exactly.  My friend, Nick, was kind enough to bring to my attention the most metal thing I have seen in a long time.  No, I'm not talking about the singer's spiked wristband.  What you are about to witness is a music video featuring zombies attacking giant, sentient stuffed animals who bleed milk.  One quote comes to my mind:  "Blacker than the blackest black times infinity."  Damn straight.

Bambi's Zombie Mom

Thanks to the new MAD TV series, we are all witness to a new animated short featuring Disney's Bambi.  In Zombi: Fawn of the Dead,  Bambi's dead mother rises from the grave to attack the living.  Again it is proven, zombies make everything better.

Pizza and the Zombie Apocalypse

So the inevitable undead uprising has finally happened and you have put your zombie contingency plan into action.  Making the trek to your safe house or barricading yourself in has caused you to work up an appetite.  A pizza sounds great but who would deliver?  Hell Pizza.  Yes, it is a real pizza place.

Chemical 12-D Now Available

Some may recall a review I posted back in November for a short film called Chemical 12-D. This 8 minute film is brought to us by Watercooler Productions. Written and directed by Mac Elridge, Chemical 12-D is going to make its international premier at Fantasia Film Fest.

"The Horde" - New International Trailer

The Horde will be available through Video On Demand this August thanks to IFC Films. We have been reporting on this film since April of last year! IFC Films seems to come through and I'm excited that they picked up the domestic rights to this film. Enjoy the new trailer and you will see why.
