Lightfield Ammunition : Zombie Blaster Ammo

     Self-preservation in the upcoming zombie apocalypse is paramount, and in order to successfully survive ( and thrive) in the midst of the impending outbreaks, the right kind of ammo is needed.

    Lightfield Ammunition Corporation, one of the largest big-game hunting munitions suppliers, has jumped into the fray and provided zombie-slayers with a new type of slug that will pack a HUGE punch and clear your path through a single, or multiple zombie attack. The non-projectile mega blank round, called The Zombie Blaster, is designed to offer a large flashbang with enough concussion power to knock ANY number of the dead on their keesters in close-combat.

    The round has become so popular that the local law-enforcement officers have tested out the rounds and found that they are also extremely effective in door-breaching and shattering the crap out of automobile windows. Of course with ANY ammunition comes the warning that this is to be used for defense purposes only - PLEASE don't use this around anyone or anything living as it can cause severe damage or death ( keep the killing limited to the zombies, please !) Zombie Ammunition

Some of us may be able to rely on our sniper talents that have been perfected over numerous years of video games, others will simply grab a gun and pray to hit anything that moves. Regardless, we as a society that wishes to outlast the undead before we become one of them, must have some sort of arsenal at our disposal. Well thanks to the Hornady Ammunition Manufacturing Company, survivalists of all walks of life will now have some fuel for their firearms ! Introducing the Zombie-Max ( or Z-Max) bullets, which are available in numerous calibers (9mm, 7.62, 12 gauge & more). It must be stressed however that these bullets are not toys, they are real ammunition and are not intended to be used on people, animals, or anything living. These are in stock now online or at your local gun shop........if it hasn't already been ransacked yet.

Zombie Ammo Contests, Sales and a Giveaway

We all love nothing more as zombie fans than to support each other and show our love with the occasional bit of zombie-related swag. Our friends over at Zombie Ammo are running a great contest over at their facebook page located here. They are promising some pretty cool prizes for those that enter and win. This is a fun chance to learn more about this amazing company and win something for yourself.

Furthermore, Zombie Ammo is running quite a few sales on their ZA targets. Just in time for Halloween they are featuring a sale where you can get 36 Zombie Ammo Targets for just $29.95. Contest Updates

As I have mentioned in several posts already, Christmas has set me further behind than usual.  As a result, several contests I wanted to run through December never launched and others never concluded on time.  So, here are some winners, entry date extensions, and advance notice of next month's contests.

Zombie Ammo was gracious enough to give a set of zombie targets away including their new Santa design!  Congratulations to Phillip A. from Phoenixville, PA.

One of my favorite artist (and yours, too, judging by the contest entries), Billy Tackett, gave us some signed prints to give away!  The image?  The Zombies & Toys logo!  There were two winners of this awesome image and to make the winnings even better we are throwing in a set of our Billy Tackett artist series buttons!  These buttons are limited to 100 sets and there are only a few left. Zombie Ammo contest

Zombie Ammo is back for another Zombies & Toys contest!  The winner will take home some extremely cool targets to help you prepare for the zombie apocalypse including their new Santa Zombie!

In addition to Zombie Santa, the winner will also receive a set of the original zombie targets: 2 originals, 2 jersey, 2 nazi, 3 terrorist, and 3 clowns.  Let me tell you, these targets are awesome looking and even make great decorations.

Zombie Ammo Contest

Even though the featured artists of The Undead Bazaar are over, there are still several contests that will be running throughout the month. But we are also now back on track to bring you our usual monthly contests.

What's more patriotic than shooting zombies? I know, not much. That's why Zombie Ammo is helping us celebrate July by offering a few lucky readers the chance to own a set of six different zombie targets. While you obviously will not have these in time for your 4th of July picnic, I doubt you will complain about having friends and family over in August to blow off steam by blowing off some zombie heads.

The grand prize winner, in addition to the set of targets, will also receive a certificate good for one free shirt of their choosing from Zombie Ammo! I receive at least one comment every time I wear mine.

Update

Just another "update" post to let everyone know what's in store in the coming months here at Zombies & Toys...

As I have said in the past, my lack of updates definitely does not translate to a lack of work. The Undead Bazaar has been taking up the majority of my time this month. I have been slightly overwhelmed and have some new participants. Therefore, The Undead Bazaar is going to extend into June. We still have plenty of artists to cover and great items to give away! Speaking of, our first contest will have a winner chosen this weekend so don't forget to enter now!

We have been steadily stocking new items in the Zombie Toy Store. We have added several new art collectible toys, movie figures, and some vintage zombie toys. We do not ask for donations to keep the blog running and never will. But we will soon have "swag bag" items in the toy store. These swag bags will vary in content and price containing stickers, buttons, key chains, shirts, mouse pads, and other items to show your support for Zombies & Toys.

Speaking of showing your support, we are "toying" with the idea of recruiting for a street team. Specifics have not been worked out, but if you would like to help our community grow by displaying postcard fliers, stickers, buttons, and other items please contact Jason at zombiesandtoys@gmail.com with your suggestions of how you can help.

Zombies & Toys will also be sponsoring a contest with our good friends over at Toy Break. For those not in the know, Toy Break is a weekly show about... well... toys. It's a show I look forward to every week. We have sent them an exclusive Zombies & Toys zombie bust hand sculpted and painted by Philip Hynes!
